Twinkle, Twinkle...
Noah and I were waiting for our plane to Oklahoma City in the St. Louis airport. Noah was tired, but unwilling to admit it so I had him in the Ergo carrier. As I stood swaying back and forth I decided to sing him his favorite bed time song, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". Usually I do the accompanying hand gestures, but since we were in public and he was in the carrier I just whispered the song in his ear. After getting through the first line he lifted his head and looked up at me and took both hands and opened and closed them just like I always do when I sing him the song. It was so darling that it was all I could do to not start telling strangers, call Jeremy or even just cry. Instead I gave him the biggest hug, told him he was right and sang the song with the hand gestures.
