Mommy & Daddy Go Out!

I can't believe it, but tonight was the first night that we left Noah. We went to see The Cure in San Jose. We've gone out plenty and have enjoyed our lives as parents, but it's always been WITH our baby. But tonight, just the two of us went out for the first time in 7+ months! (Crazy how fast the time has just whizzed on by.) Heather and Jon were kind enough to step up and act as our "First Babysitters". Thankfully I was very rushed and couldn't really think about any details other than the fact that I completely trusted them and knew that no matter what it would all be okay. I left Noah smiling and laughing in Heather's arms and I managed to be gone for 6 and a half hours without a panicked phone call home! (It was so good to get home though and see him sweetly sleeping away.)
