Not exactly sure where Noah's infatuation with Spiderman came from, but it's in full effect. He talks constantly about Spiderman, about how they're best friends, about how they hang out together, play together, and eat together. His plan, for now anyway, is to be Spiderman for Halloween. We'll see how that goes given his previous preoccupation with Batman and the scariness of the Batman costume.
This afternoon when we picked Noah up from daycare he proceeded to launch into a long monologue about how Spiderman lives in Oklahoma with Grandpa. Apparently, Spiderman's house (AKA Grandpa's house) has "big rooms with lots of toys for boys like me".
When I could finally get a word in I reminded Noah that tomorrow was Friday and that Grandma was going to be coming to play with him. He asked to speak with her so we immediately called Grandma on my cell phone. I handed the phone back to him expecting him to say his usual, "Hi. I love you. Bye bye." Instead, he launched into another huge monologue with Grandma...again, about Spiderman. This time he gave Grandma specific orders that she was to "go to Oklahoma and pick up Spiderman at Grandpa's house BEFORE coming to my house in Oakland." He stated this demand several times. Poor Grandma. We're hoping that he forgets this by the time she shows up.
